About Coach

Amy, a Southern New Hampshire native, returned to her home state in 2018 after spending 11 years in sunny Southern California. With a strong professional background in Retail Business Management and Operations, her true passion has always been health and fitness.

Amy has studied and practiced yoga for over a decade, earning her RYT-200 certification in Hot Power Fusion and Power Flow. While coaching group fitness classes and yoga in California, she discovered CrossFit—and her fitness journey transformed. Inspired by her personal results, she achieved her CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) in 2018. She currently holds a CF-2 designation.

Weightlifting quickly became a cornerstone of Amy’s fitness pursuits. In 2022, she obtained her USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification (USAW-L1) and began competing in the sport. That same year, she competed at the American Open Finals in Atlanta, Georgia, bringing home two gold medals and a bronze in her age group and weight class. Amy has also held New England Weightlifting State Organization (WSO) records for the snatch, clean and jerk, and overall total in her category.

Currently, Amy leads GFF’s Barbell Club, where she thrives on coaching competitive athletes in both weightlifting and CrossFit. Outside of the gym, she loves spending time outdoors with her family and her dog, Chester.
