About Coach

Amy was born and raised in Southern NH and relocated to NH in 2018 after spending 11 years in Southern California. She spent most of her professional career in Retail Business Management and Operations, but her real passion is health and fitness. She studied and practiced Yoga for over 10 years and holds a RYT-200 certification in Hot Power Fusion and Power Flow. After coaching group fitness classes and yoga in Southern California, she found CrossFit and there has been no turning back. After seeing some great personal results she obtained her CF- L1 in August 2018. She has a real passion for weightlifting and recently began competing in the sport and obtained her USAW Level 1 in 2022. In December of 2022, she went to the American Open Finals in Atlanta, GA, and took home 2Gold metals and 1 bronze in her age group and weight class. She is the current New England Record holder in her age group and weight class in both the snatch and clean and jerk and the overall total. She currently runs GFF’s Barbell Club and enjoys coaching our competitive athletes as they compete in both weightlifting and CrossFit events outside of the gym.
